Audio: New Tim & Faith Music

The new album The Shack: Music From and Inspired by the Original Motion Picture is chock-full of performances by country stars, including Dierks Bentley, Brett Eldredge, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum and Dan and Shay.

The album comes out on February 24th. The movie follows on March 3rd. Tim narrates the film and appears in the role of Willie.

JOSH TURNER: New Album in March

Josh Turner will release his first album in almost five years on March 10th. 

Deep South represents the simple things in life, like church, community, high school sports and being outdoors.

Josh says, “I’m really proud of this album. It was really important for me to expand creatively and explore in new ways for this record. The way I pick songs is different now. There are so many things in my life and career that have matured me as an artist."

On of those things is another kid. His fourth son, Samuel, arrived in September 2014. 

LUKE BRYAN, BLAKE SHELTON: Gearing Up for Team "Bluke"

Luke Bryan will join the the upcoming season of The Voice, as a mentor for Blake Shelton's team.

According to Nashville's Tennessean, this isn't the first time Blake asked Luke for the help, but it is the first time his schedule has allowed for it. Luke says, “I think I get lost in the shuffle in the media of the guy who dances on stage. I think people don’t realize that I moved to town, wrote songs and got a record deal. Early in my career, I was so nervous about big moments, I didn’t even enjoy them. I just want to help these people settle into who they are and enjoy the moment.”

Luke's episodes were filmed last week.

Country Star David Nail to Play Peoria

Country star David Nail is heading to Peoria with special guests Brooke Eden and Charlie Walker on Friday, April 7th at the SMG managed Peoria Civic Center Arena. The concert begins at 6:10pm.

Tickets are $28 and $11 and go on sale Friday, January 13th at 10am. Tickets will be available at the Toyota Box Office at the Peoria Civic Center, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, or by phone at 1 (800) 745-3000.

MIRANDA LAMBERT: Chicago Benefit Before Tour

A couple of days before Miranda Lambert begins her Highway Vagabond Tour on January 26th in Evansville, Indiana, she'll do a warm-up show at Joe's Bar in Chicago!

That date on January 24th will benefit Miranda's Women Creators Scholarship, which is awarded to a female student studying the music business at Nashville's Belmont University. 

Tickets are $50, but seats are strictly limited. A request form at Joe's website must be filled out. Reservations are being taken until Wednesday.
